What to do when there is rain in the forecast

Oh no, you’ve scheduled an appointment with us and now the weatherman is calling for rain!

Do you need to reschedule?

Will your windows become dirty again if it rains right after they are finished?

Here's what you need to know…

The good news is with light rain there is no reason to put off cleaning your windows. We can come clean your windows in the light rain!

It is our policy to complete a scheduled job even if it is raining. If there is a light rain we will continue as scheduled because rain does not affect the cleaning. It is not the rain hitting your windows that causes them to be dirty. It is the dirt, pollen and other outside sources that sit on your window, causing them to lose their sparkle.

We are so confident that the rain won’t ruin your beautifully cleaned windows we offer a Rain Guarantee!

That means, if you notice any dirty water spots (or bird droppings) during your guarantee period, we will return to clean the affected windows free of charge. All you have to do is notify us within your guarantee period.

But what about heavy rain?

Sometimes mother nature doesn’t always cooperate with us. In the event that there is heavy rain moving through the area during your scheduled window cleaning appointment, we will do everything we can to reschedule as soon as possible. Wisconsin weather is so unpredictable, and it is possible for the weatherman to be wrong, our owner Brandon will make the call to reschedule the morning of your appointment. If it is deemed unsafe for our crew to perform their job, you will receive a phone call from us first thing in the morning.

At Crystal Vista Window Cleaning, we take all the worry away when having your windows cleaned. Rain or shine, we will be ready to assist you with all your window cleaning, house soft washing, patio power washing and other needs.
